Project Description

Tank

Tank, 1 year old Heading dog
Fostered rural Oamaru
Neutered, vaccinated, chipped (on NDB), registered.
Videos:
Tank came to us from a South Canterbury farm, he was not cut out as a working dog and needed to find somewhere to go asap.
He is a really lovely natured young dog and is enjoying his fresh start. This is what his foster Mum has to say about him:
Tank is a sensitive soul and eager to please. He is a kind, clever dog who will blossom with gentle and consistent love. He needs to know what to expect, and what is expected of him. He is perfectly sociable and happy to meet new people, but at the end of the day he is loyal to his chosen person.
His recall is very good and he heels wonderfully when walking. He is a medium energy dog with a high intellect. He will need daily quality time and attention, whether it’s going on sniff-safari though the neighbourhood, or playing hide-and-seek with toys. He will make a tirelessly faithful companion to a special human who is ready to reciprocate his dedication.
He has been very good with the other dogs he has met. He would be happy as an only dog, or with a mate. Ignores the chooks and ducks.
Tank is house trained and sleeps inside. He is looking to be a treasured companion / pet on a lifestyle property.
Adoption $200 – this goes a small way towards his costs.
