Pound Paws Rescue is run by a small team of dedicated volunteers. We are totally self-funded and rely on our own fundraising efforts and donations from the public. We take in dogs of all ages from all types of desperate situations.  From unwanted farm/pig dogs, dogs surrendered to Vet clinics for euthanasia, pound  and community dogs.  We are often their last hope. Many are needing expensive veterinary treatment – dental extractions, arthritis treatment, x-rays, fracture repairs, heart medication, bloods, behavioural support, special diets.  We are strong advocates of spay/neuter and we offer assistance to struggling pet owners.

We are always in need of:

Dry food for all ages.  We use a lot of medium/large breed puppy food, senior, joint care, hypoallergenic
Wet food – sachets or small cans
Medication.  4Cyte.  Flea/worm treatments.  Compostable poo bags. Puppy pads.  Collars – small/medium
Treats, chews, toys, puzzles, kongs.
We currently have plenty of blankets and towels.
