Mochi has gained confidence around people and is able to meet strangers happily if given a bit of time and space to do so as he’s ready – with more gentle exposure and training this will only improve (he is more wary of men).

Very affectionate, will greet you with a full butt wag. He likes to play tug and fetch, is an eager learner and will happily work for food and toys. He has been working on sit, down, come, mat, drop, leave it, switch (toy trade), wait, (nose) touch, chin(rest).

Good with the cat, likes to play but can easily be called off. Fantastic with other dogs – happy to play if it’s on the cards, but also will read the room and leave other dogs be if they aren’t interested.

Can sleep in crate, or on the human bed, or on dog bed in the bedroom (will sleep through). Toilet training is solid when monitored, no accidents inside and has figured out the dog door.

Suited to a family with dog savvy kids and/or animal company, who would like a giant marshmallow of a dog for company and snuggles, and are 100% committed to his ongoing positive progress. Good secure fencing is a must.

Adoption $300 – this goes a small way towards his costs, includes neuter (later), vaccinations, chip (on NDB), registration, flea/worm to date.
