Louie

Louie, female, 4 years old, Collie.

Fostered in Winchester

Louie previously lived on farms and was good around sheep, cows, hens. Has also been around children. She did chase the cat (maybe a confident cat along with training will change this. Her owner could no longer keep her on the current farm she was working at (it was not fenced and on main road).

From her foster carer: Louie adapted very quickly to sleeping inside, the first night she was a little unsettled but now sleeps in her crate through the night. She does prefer to be outside during the day but will sit by the open door so she can be near you if you are home. She loves her daily country walks and happily runs around with the other dogs. Louie is very friendly and loves everybody she meets, ignores the cows and sheep.

Louie is seeking an active rural family home as a pet where she can be included as a special part of daily activities, enjoy lots of adventures and mental stimulation.

Adoption donation $200. Louie was spayed and vaccinated. We’ve had her vet checked and registered, flea/worm treated.
