Project Description
Huxley
Huxley is a large mixed breed, Mum is a Husky.
He is approx 40 kg
Fostered in Waimate.
Huxley is a delight and is seeking a super special forever home where he will be treasured and loved – just as he is in foster care.
He is a happy, friendly, active and affectionate dog. He will sometimes “talk” to voice his opinions, he has plenty of character!
His foster carers take him for a good walk everyday (approx 3-5km) plus he enjoys play time with other dogs.
Huxley has company throughout most of the day, but is ok to be left with the other dogs if his humans go out for a few hours. A cat free (and chook free) home is preferred, but there is one cat that Huxley is ok with – “Sprinkles” is a feisty girl and she demands respect, but we prefer to err on the side of caution.
Huxley is used to being welcome inside, is housetrained, and sleeps on a cosy bed. Seeking a special, dedicated dog savvy home that can continue to provide Huxley with an enriched, safe, secure home.
Adoption donation – $250 to go part-way towards neuter, vaccinations, registration, chip, flea/worm up to date.
* Please read the information listed at the top of our dogs for adoption page which includes how to register your interest, thank you! *
