Flex came from a loving family where he was well trained and loved. Very sadly Flex’s Dad past away at Xmas time.

Don’t be fooled by his age, once he is comfortable with you, he turns into a playful, loving, gentle old soul of a dog. He loves nothing more than to play tug of war or chase and fetch the ball – he likes to trick you thinking the ball is yours to throw again! His new trick is to let you kick the ball towards him while he tries to be the goalie and stop the ball from getting past – he stops it more times than it goes through. He is very quick to pick up and learn new things.

He would suit an energetic family (older kids) or couple/single who will walk and play with him every day. He needs plenty of exercise to get down to his trim self, currently on Royal Canin Satiety.

He gets Cytopoint when needed, at the moment, and for most of Summer, that is every 6 weeks, but it could be longer, depending on his skin. This may improve, but new owner needs to be happy to meet all of his health needs.

He gets on well with other dogs, is not bothered about cats (has lived with prev). Needs a well fenced back yard to get out and run around. Is great on the lead, no pulling since we put him on a harness and does well with recall and coming back to you.

Flex is likely to be popular, but we want to ensure he finds the right match.
