Bear & Rocky, 4 month old male Huntaway/Collie x pups (Fostered Banks Peninsula, Canterbury)

Bear (b/w) is a gorgeous pup with a super cuddly side! He needs an active owner who he can join on adventures. He’s growing bolder and more confident everyday. He’s been around our chickens and cats and is learning to watch respectfully. He loves rough and tumble play with other dogs, would be lovely for him to go to a home that has a social adult dog to play with.

Rocky (b/w, brindle) is an absolute darling with a cheeky, playful side! He loves cuddles and has so much affection to give. He’s curious and loves exploring, and has been around our cats and chickens. Rocky has quite the little bark on him and he likes to guard his yard! Rocky would love a rural home with another playmate.

They sleep right through the night in a large crate together in the house. Learning their names and love to be with people, usually come when called. Bear – he’s the bigger quieter one, very classic Huntaway, Rocky is probably a bit more Collie like. They are both really smoochy.

Seeking active family homes that can continue to give confidence in new environments. Rural/semi rural homes, where they can be an important part of daily activities, enjoy lots of adventures and mental stimulation. $350 each – to go towards part of the cost of vaccs, chip/reg, neuter (when a bit older). Flea/wormed. We have an adoption process to help us make the best possible match. We do meetings once this has been successfully completed. We do home out of the district & can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters. Stock fenced properties require a fully secure/safe containment area for no one is at home.
