Albie is a fun loving, energetic, sensitive soul. He thrives in a calm environment with patient, kind handling, is a pleasure to have around. Very affectionate, wants to please, loves pats and treats, knows basic training.

Has improved a lot on the lead, but will still need to be on a front clip harness and long line – (goes well on a 3.5 metre). Loves to sniff and explore. Really pleased with his progress! Needs people that understand the importance of not letting him run free, unless in a safely fenced area.

Can be easily excited – hence a calm home. He can be high energy and very playful, has an enthusiastic excited woo woo woo – let’s get going bark. Loves play time, fetch, tug, finding his food around the lawn. Needs calm introductions with other dogs (not dog park). Great when he sees dogs out on walks, will just lay down and look at them. Good with older kids. Cat free home is best.

Excellent manners in the car. Sleeps in the lounge with the other dogs through the night, will sometimes sneak into my room about 6am to curl up on the bed. Someone will really love him! Needs a fully 6ft fenced and gated property, (he has never escaped from mine).

Adoption between $200 – $300, goes part way towards his costs. Neutered, fully vaccinated, chipped (on NZCAR), registered, up to date worm/flea.
