Toby is going really well, he’s lovely to handle, great at the vet and travels well. He is enjoying his new experiences – daily walks, visits to the farm, the beach, bathed and brushed.  Has reasonable recall. Is good with other dogs he meets when out and about. Could live with confident cats.

Toby needs work on his resource guarding of food around other dogs, his foster carer reports that this has improved.

When Toby was a pup, he had the end of 2 of his toes removed after they were injured. It was recently thought that he would require surgery to remove the remaining parts of the toes, but he has formed a pad around these which seems to be protecting them from being painful (if they were to make contact with the ground). We’ve had him thoroughly vet checked and his foster carer has been monitoring him for signs of pain or lameness, but there has been none – which is fantastic!

Toby is seeking a super new home that can continue to give him the full enriched life he’s always deserved.
$350.  Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.

Neutered, fully vaccinated, chipped/NZCAR, registered, flea/worm treated.

We do home out of the district and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters. Residential properties require 6ft fencing/gates. Owner occupied homes.
