Tess
Labrador. DOB 2/3/23.  Fostered Dunedin

* UPDATE – Thank you everyone for your lovely enquiries about Tess.  She is now on hold for a potential new home.  If anything changes, we will be back in touch. *

Tess is a beautiful friendly, bouncy loving Labrador.  She’s been in foster care for a couple of weeks.  She needed to gain a few kg’s, which she quickly has.

Great with other dogs, greets people with joy and a happy wagging tail.  Tess is very wary of men, she will hide.  We are doing gentle introductions, new home needs to be happy to follow guidelines for this – we don’t want her to get flooded / put under pressure.

Tess is seeking a forever home that can give her the enrichment, care, companionship and adventures that she’s always desired.  Can jump a 6ft fence, but only to get to you.  Will need to be left inside for when no one is at home.  Ideally suited to having daytime human company.

Has potential to live with a dog savvy cat.  Good with gentle, dog confident children.

  • Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check.
  • We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.

$400 – spayed, vaccinated, chip/NZCAR, registered, flea/worm up to date.

We do home out of the district (within South Island) and can arrange property visits. Please message us all about your home and why you think that Tess would thrive in your care.
