Skye came to us from Temuka – she had been living a bleak life on a chain. Thank you to the kind man that got her out of that situation and to us.

Skye is a gorgeous (often overlooked due to her brindle colouring, which is a real shame!) medium sized, friendly, happy girl. She is great with other dogs and is cat friendly too. She needs a good sized, well fenced/gated 6ft residential property where she can run and have another dog as a playmate. She has lots of energy and will need someone to give her plenty of daily activities. She is a loving and kind dog that is thriving in her foster home.

Skye has been around a lot of new people. She is more comfortable meeting females than men, but if they give her time and space, she comes around in her own time. Suited to families with kids aged 10 years plus.

A good traveller in the car. Needs further lead training. Housetrained, but may have a couple of accidents initially. She sleeps through the night in a crate with lots of cosy blankets.

We want to hear from extra special potential adopters that are experienced and have time and patience to dedicate. Owner occupied home preferred.

Adoption – $250 – includes spay, parvo/kennel cough vaccinations, micro-chip, registration, flea/worm treated.

We have an adoption process to match our dogs up to the home that best suits their needs. A property visit will be carried out to ensure safe containment. 2 week trial period.

Based in Oamaru, North Otago.
