Rufus – Adopted

He has integrated with the other dogs in foster care really well now, at first he was overwhelmed.  If his future home has a dog, ideally this will be a  calm adult.

He adores dog savvy children especially when they tell him how gorgeous he is. He is ok around a dog savvy cat but needs a chicken free home.

Recently he has been enjoying off lead runs with the other dogs in a safe area (with no distractions to send him off course).  Otherwise he needs to be on a harness and lead (long lead is great to give him plenty of safe exploration).

Enjoys the water, playtime at the dog park (we go at quiet times when we know the other dogs there), he also loves going for drives in the car. Good fences are a must, no gaps. Seeking a home that is dog savvy and has the time and energy to help Rufus with further positive training, lots of mental enrichment, fun games and adventures.

$350 – Includes neuter, micro-chip (on NZCAR), fully vaccinated, registered. Flea/worm up to date.

South Island adoptions only.

Owner occupied homes preferred.

We do home out of the district and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters.

Needs 5ft fencing/gates.
