Ruff is a living teddy bear. He doesn’t have many demands, he really just wants to be your buddy and hang around together. He requests a lot of affirmation, in form of pats, and he likes to go with you wherever you’re going. Going out to the garden to get some veggies? Ruff will come along and lie down in the grass. Going to the kitchen to make a cup of tea? Ruff will stand beside you and watch with interest. Going to the toilet? Well … sometimes we have to gently assert boundaries.
Ruff is an older boy, and carrying some extra weight right now (needs to lose 5kg). He would enjoy sharing a gentle walk around the block each day, but he does not want a highly active lifestyle. He is sweet, open, and rather simple. He would be happiest in a home with a predictable routine, and familiar people. Older respectful children. He has not showed any interest in our chickens, ducks or sheep. Has previously lived with cats (outside only).
He is loving his new indoor lifestyle – this is a must for his new home – he needs to be welcome and free inside. House trained.
Ruff has had bloods taken and the results are all good, he is starting on Meloxicam (anti-inflammatory) and 4Cyte (supplement). Will require a good quality food ongoing.
Adoption donation – $200 to go part-way towards neuter, vaccinations, registration, chip, flea treated. Worm up to date.
