ROSIE

DOB 8 December 2020
South Island only, must be prepared to travel to meet (once we have completed the adoption process).

Rosie
10.5 weeks old
Huntaway/Collie (Handy pup)
Fostered rurally in Winton, Southland
(Can be transported to South Canterbury)

Rosie and her 2 sisters came to us from a farm. They all have beautiful natures (shy at first). They will need a home with plenty of space, interaction and activities – lots of mental stimulation!

Rosie is the shy girl of the lot, she’s super sweet but also has a wee mischievous side that comes out when she’s comfortable.

The pups were a bit scared of our other dogs (1 large, 1 medium, 1 small fluffy) to start with but after about 5 minutes they were good. We have cats and they have no issues at all, cows totally fine. Great with the kids (aged 12 years plus) they don’t jump or nip or anything. They are sleeping in crates inside at night. All 3 are the most amazing wee girls, they have gorgeous temperaments once they trust you. They just need a little more worldly experience as new situations can be a little frightening.

We want to hear from EXTRA SPECIAL potential adopters that have the time and patience to dedicate to pups ongoing socialisation and training. They will need to be an important part of daily family activities. Owner occupied home preferred.

We ask for a donation of $290 to go towards costs, this includes spay (at 6 months), 2 x parvo vaccination (3rd is at owners cost), kennel cough, micro-chip and registration. Flea and worm treatments.

We have an adoption process to match our dogs up to the home that best suits their needs. A property visit will be carried out to ensure safe containment. 2 week trial period.

Based in Oamaru, North Otago.
Thank you for considering ADOPTION!
