We’ve had Ratu since he was about 12 weeks old, sadly we’ve had no interest in his adoption.

He is a very social, friendly, loving young dog. He loves people, greets them with a big tail wag and soaks up the loving. Loves children (12 years plus is best due to his size). He loves being around the other dogs (all sizes). Loves his adventures to the river, beach and countryside. Needs a cat free home.

Ratu sleeps inside and loves his bed by the fire. His foster carers are constantly amazed how gentle and loving he is. Ideally his forever home will have another dog and someone home during part of the day.

From birth he has had an eye that was smaller (microphthalmia), debris were getting in and causing him discomfort, he has had surgery to remove this eye.

Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.

$300 – includes neuter (once fully grown), micro-chip (on NZCA), vaccinations, registration, flea/worm.

We do home out of the district and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters. Residential properties require 6ft fencing/gates. Owner occupied homes.
