Originally adopted as pups from SPCA in North Island.
Recently due to drastic change in owners circumstances Toby and Sparky needed somewhere to go asap.  Thank you to the lovely foster carers for opening up their home to them!

They are great dogs!  They socialise well with all the other dogs.  Love being around people and getting lots of attention.  Good manners around food.  Happy to go in the car for a drive as much as they are happy to have a sleep on the back porch. Toby is a confident dog (big smooch) – happy to go anywhere or do anything.  Sparky has now really come out of his shell and is no longer reliant on Toby for reassurance.  We now feel comfortable for them to be rehomed separately (or together), preferably with another social dog.
They have always lived rural/semi rural.  Have never lived with cats – need a cat free home.  Have been around children previously.

Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.

Toby and Sparky came to us neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated.  We’ve had them to the vet for a check over,  Toby has some arthritis and this is now being treated.  They’re on NZCAR database and council registered.  Up to date flea/worm.

We do home out of the district and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters. Stock fenced properties require a fully secure/safe containment area for no one is at home. Residential properties require 5ft fencing/gates. Owner occupied homes preferred.
