Watch:
Ratu (will be a larger dog) is a happy, friendly big boy who loves to play with the other dogs. He is very clever and enjoys learning new skills. He has a condition called congenital Microphthalmia which has affected one eye (much smaller). Vets said to monitor. If in future he needs surgery, Pound Paws will cover this. Ratu needs a cat/chicken free home – too interested in them. He loves going on adventures with the other dogs, will need plenty of activities and mental enrichment in his forever home.
Adopted. Nina (likely to be medium size) is shy at first, gaining confidence well. She’s a dear wee soul, lovely to see her coming out of her shell. Loves playing with squeaky toys and and being around the other dogs and pups. Nina is learning about cats, she does want to chase when they run – supervision / training will help.
Both pups have been around and are good with dog savvy children 8 years plus. They love sleeping inside with the other dogs. Really want to find them special homes that are dedicated to ensuring all of their needs are met and are able to take them out for daily adventures. They’d be very happy and love this.
Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.
$300 – includes neuter (later – pre-booked / followed up on) micro-chip (on NDB), vaccinations, registration, flea/worm to date.
We do home out of the district and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters. Residential properties require 6ft fencing/gates. Rural properties need to have a fully secure containment area for when no one is at home. Owner occupied homes. Please email us all about your home and why you think that Ratu would thrive in your care.
