Project Description

Piper, Huntaway / Heading pup Approx DOB 5/2/24

Fostered in Oamaru

Piper is a playful, friendly, active bundle of enthusiasm. She has greatly improved in confidence and is not so worried anymore about travelling in the van, going to the vet, going for lead walks, meeting new people (can still woof at some). Will still need encourage in new environments. She loves other dogs, maybe a bit too friendly, lots of licks and kisses – she is learning when the older ones have had enough and she backs off. Loves her food! I scattered her meals around the lawn and it takes her ages to snuffle and find it all.

Piper is house trained and sleeps through the night in her cosy bed. She has a super big bark and is suited to semi rural/rural living.

Piper is young and needs human company at least half of the day with plenty of activities/adventures/mental stimulation and socialisation to thrive.
