Project Description

Maisie

Maisie, Huntaway/Heading cross Approx DOB 6/6/22

Fostered on a lifestyle property, Oamaru.

Maisie and her sibling were the last of a accidental farm litter to find homes and came into our care.

This is what her foster carers have to say:

Maisie is a gorgeous pup, she arrived very shy but is gaining confidence and has slotted into our family home very well. She is happy to be out and about pottering but is equally just as happy cuddling on the couch. She is getting better with her car sickness and travels to town with me every day and is used to a vet clinic environment. She is well used to other dogs, cats, children, goats, cows and lots of different noises.

Maisie isn’t too happy in a crate, but this hasn’t been an issue for us as she is great at sleeping in her dog bed all through the night! We have been able to leave her home alone (after all of her needs were met) for 4 hours without anything being chewed or destroyed. She has also done very well with house training. Maisie would make a wonderful pet for either a family but also would just as much enjoy being with just one person or a couple. This is a very very special pup!

Looking for a loving home where Maisie will be included as an important part of daily family activities and be welcome inside. If interested please email / message us all about your home, previous dog experience and why you think she would thrive in your care.

Donation – $350 to go towards a part of the cost of vaccinations (2 parvo, kennel cough), chipping, registration, spay (when a bit older). Up to date flea/worm treatments.

*Please read the information listed at the top of our dogs for adoption page which includes how to register your interest, thank you! *
