Lou…. what shall we say about you?
She’s pretty, and playful, loves adventures and the usual things that young dogs do. Lou is gentle and affectionate, very responsive, loves food rewards, loves the couch and her warm bed, is housetrained and sleeps inside, she loves a good run around the park with the other dogs and can bark at playtime. Sometimes she gets anxiety when her human carer goes out, but we are working on this and she is improving.
A special home is needed, Lou missed out on vital socialising when younger (came to us from a farm at 12 weeks old) Lou and her sibling were the 2 very shy and unsure of humans (out of the 10 pups that we received). We want a home that is experienced in dog rescue that will understand her needs and knows not to put her under pressure when meeting new people – it takes time, she doesn’t want strangers coming up to pat her, she is not your average family pet and we would not want anyone to expect her to be so. The best case scenario would be a home that would work in with a behaviourist (fear and force free), or someone that has previous experience in working with one.
