Nyx is a fun loving girl who is looking for her forever family. She settled in to foster care very quickly and brings a lot of smiles to our house – her tail wags from the minute she wakes up and her joy is infectious.
She would love to live with another dog with similar happy vibes as her, or a family committed to engaging in playtime with her – she often finds toy and brings them to share. She is currently fostered with two older male dogs who she has gotten along with very well.
Good with kids, takes food very gently, doesn’t jump up, and is always right behind you waiting for a cuddle.
Nyx loves getting out and about, and has good recall when off lead. Loves to work for treats (part Lab) so seems to be easily trainable. Would enjoy being taken out regularly on adventures – although she is on a bit of a fitness journey so nothing too big to start with.
She has been on treatment to resolve some ear and skin issues and will need to stay on special food and have a close eye kept on her ears and skin to catch any infections early on in the future. Housetrained, sleeps inside. Not cat tested by us.
Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.
$350 – includes vaccinations, spay, micro-chip registered on NZCAR, flea/worm up to date.
Residential 6ft fences/gates. We do home out of the district (within South Island) and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters.
