Playful with toys and keen on zoomies, when he has adjusted to his new environment.
Gentle on lead. Good recall. Happy with the other dogs in foster care, wants to play, but if they are not keen, he takes the hint. He needs gentle introductions to new people and new dogs, he is a bit nervous, needs a carer that can read dog body language and not put him under pressure. Previously lived with cats.
Needs older dog savvy children – 13 years plus. Ideally suited to a quieter location, gets nervous around some neighbourhood noises (loud cars/voices).
Mocha is house trained and he sleeps inside. Settles well. Ok to be left for a couple of hours.
Calm, kind positive handling needed and a stable environment. Need to ensure his grooming needs are meet.
Someone home for at least half the day would be ideal for Mocha.
Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.
$350 – includes vaccinations, neuter, micro-chip registered on NZCAR, registered, flea/worm up to date.
Owner occupied home. Rural properties need a fully secure containment area for when no one is at home. Residential 6ft fences/gates. We do home out of the district (within South Island) and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters.
