Milo – Adopted

Milo, Heading dog (deaf)
DOB 10/2024
Watch: Milo’s video is being made.

Fostered Pleasant Point

Milo is a very sweet, social, happy pup. He loves to say hello to everyone. He loves playing ball, playing chase with his flag, food puzzles and stalking his dog friends.  Milo is learning sign language and is going to puppy class. He is a very fast learner and knows sit, down, high five and touch. With the help of our other dog / long line training he has been learning recall and checks in with us often.
He enjoys the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with a calm, social adult dog to follow and play with. He takes his social cues from our dogs in new situations to know he is safe. Older children only as he gets overstimulated easily at this stage.
Seeking a super dedicated home that can enrich this wee man’s life and can commit to ongoing fun training and games. We can offer support to whoever adopts him with training techniques.
$300 – includes neuter (later – pre-booked and followed up on), vaccinations, micro-chip (NZCAR), flea/worm to date.
Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.
We do home out of the district and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters. Residential properties require 5-6ft fencing/gates. Rural needs to be safe, away from roads and have a fully contained area to leave him when no one is home. Email/message us about your home and why you think Milo would thrive in your care.
