Miles – Adopted

Miles 7-8 year old Shih tzu x Bichon, 10kg. Fostered Oamaru

Miles just loves affection, enjoys his daily walk, great on the lead and in the car, housetrained, good with other dogs. We are unsure re cats. Loves to play tug of war, he’s quite strong! Wants to chase ducks/rabbits.

He is a solid wee man, he needs to lose 2 more kg. His separation anxiety has lessened with time, he’s been through a lot, will still howl if you leave the room. He needs someone that is home most of the time and that is happy to manage his separation anxiety.

Can get over excited at times and mouthy (very gentle) and snatchy with food. He is not your typical delicate small dog, but he does love being right beside you for love and affection. Older dog savvy kids only.

He can be a trip hazard, you need to be aware that he could be quietly sitting behind you. Miles has dry eye and requires eye drops twice daily, for life. They are $64 for 10ml, likely will last for a month (will update when we know). His ear infection has been treated and is all cleared up. His rotten rooted Molar has been extracted! Miles is feeling so much better! He’s due a groom once healed from dental.

Miles would love to sleep on your bed.

Neutered, vaccinated, chipped/NZCAR, registered, flea/wormed.

Adoption $300 Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.

We do home out of the district and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters. Needs a securely fenced section. Owner occupied home.
