Māui is such a wee character, absolutely loves to play with resident pup Opie & all his toys. He loves food & will sit for treats & his breakfast/dinner. He is improving with crate & toilet training, doing very well. Likes to be around you & in your presence, not so much of a cuddler. Good with cats.

(Not sure if you want to put that he is vocal, grumbles & makes lots of ‘old man’ noises) Yes lets add this in!

Details we have on their parents:

Dad (Vizsla) is around 25kg. And Mum (Lab/Beardie) is a bit fatter, she would be around 30kg. They are both on the bigger size of a medium sized dog.

The Dad is high energy, not working dog high energy though, but still definitely needs a good run or two every day. The Mum has lower energy, she is happy with some casual morning farm work – moving the cows on the crop and then the rest of the day to potter around. Both are very friendly and well socialised.

Seeking a super home that is active and understand the needs of the breed and the lifelong commitment and care required. He is just young and needs human company during the day, with plenty of activities and socialisation to thrive.

Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.

$300 – Includes neuter (later), micro-chip (on NDB), vaccination, flea/worm.

South Island adoptions only.

We do home out of the district and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters.

Stock fenced properties require a fully secure/safe containment area for no one is at home.

Residential properties require 6ft fencing/gates.

Owner occupied homes.
