Tess
Approx DOB 25.7.25. Fostered in Timaru

Tess was surrendered to a vet clinic with a broken leg after she was accidentally run over. She has now fully recovered from surgery.
Tess is a beautiful six-month-old Collie / Heading Dog cross with a kind, quiet, and gentle soul. She has a soft nature and is ready to start her next chapter with someone who will patiently support her as she builds confidence in new situations.
She does well with other dogs when introduced properly (she can be a little timid at first), is great with children, and lives happily alongside confident cats. While she may show some natural herding instincts by stalking cats, she has never shown aggression or chased them — she currently lives with five cats and two other dogs.
Tess is crate and toilet trained, has excellent recall off the lead, and is quickly learning to walk nicely on the lead. She picks up basic commands fast and enjoys learning. She loves curling up for a quiet cuddle on the couch in the evening.
Tess will thrive with a kind-hearted owner who is willing to gently socialise her and introduce her to lots of positive new adventures. In return, she’ll be a loyal, loving companion with so much affection to give.
