We don’t want to fly him off to a new home, South Island only and happy to come and meet him upon successful completion of adoption process. Marley, 9 years old, Cocker Spaniel

Seeking a peaceful settled ADULT home with daytime company. Ideally a retired person/couple. Must be able to ensure Marley’s health requirements are fully met. Fenced/secure property. Owner occupied preferred. He loves a daily walk.

Marley has “dry eye” (KCS). He is now on the medicated drops – Optimmune – this is not cheap and is to continue for the rest of his life.
His anal glands were full and painful, he needed to be sedated. He will need these checked from time to time.
He had a sore, irritated ear, treatment has cleared this up.
This week he has had a dental, 3 Molars were extracted.
The vet staff said he was great to handle, his bloods were taken and all is ok there, and his overall health is very good. Marley is so MUCH happier now!

Marley is pure magic! He might have a few silver whiskers but Marley is pure gold. House trained, travels well in a car, walks well on a lead, soft and gentle. Marley is best suited to a home as either the only dog or with another settled dog. Currently fostered with a small adult female dog. Previously lived with cats.

$0 adoption donation to go towards some of his vet costs which have been around $1,000.

We have an adoption process to match our dogs up to the home that best suits their needs. A property visit will be carried out to ensure safe containment. 2 week trial period.
