KOOZER

 Update – on hold for a new home. 

This lovely dog is called Koozer, he is a 6 year Huntaway, 38kg. He is retired from working due to an accident where he broke his toe. His owner called us for help, he loves his dog and wants the best for him.
Yesterday Koozer was neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped and is currently still in care with his owner.
We are seeking a wonderful home (or foster carer) that has a passion in giving a retired working dog an enriched life in comfort (this will include care of his arthritis). A rural/semi rural property where he can be included in daily activities would be ideal.
We haven’t met Koozer yet, but he sounds to be a gentle giant that wants to please, very good behaviour at the vets and not a barker in day to day life (naturally he did when working). He is used to being around other dogs and sheep.
Our usual adoption/application process applies. We ask for a donation of $250 to go towards his vet costs. Koozer is currently located in South Canterbury. If interested, please message us all about your home and why you think you would be a good match for this lovely boy.
