Jazz is an absolute super star! She loves to snuggle, follow you around and just be part of the whanau. Tummy rubs are her favourite thing, and she let’s you know when she wants them.
She makes friends very easily (the fur & the human kind). She is wary of cats but has come to terms with the fact that our cat Chad is the boss of the house! She gets along well with our male dog. Jazz can be a little bit temperamental with her dinner so she is given the space to eat by herself and not around the other animals. She will also chew your socks if you leave them on the floor (our kids now know to clean up after themselves!).
House trained, sleeps inside (sometimes prefers outside if it’s too hot). Jazz will most definitely be someone’s best friend, it’s hard not to love her!
Medical:
We’ve had Jazz in recently to have a broken Carnassial removed (big upper premolar at the back).
She has had allergy issues in the past that are currently stable but she needs ongoing monitoring.
Previously had knee surgery (07/2023) and has started on pain relief and joint care food due to arthritis. Her new carers will need to be 100% on board with ensuring that all of her medical needs are met, and that she is kept at a healthy weight (she has been on a diet since being in our care and is doing well) and low impact exercise. You will be well rewarded with a very friendly, fun and loving companion.
Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.
$200. Neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped (NZCAR), registered, flea/worm treated.
We do home out of the district and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters.
Stock fenced properties require a fully secure/safe containment area for no one is at home.
Residential properties require 5 to 6ft fencing/gates.
