Fizz is a beautiful, high energy 2 year old Collie from the pound (she had been tied up to a post with no shelter at her previous home). She has a great temperament and is looking for a super home that understands the Collie breed, can engage and enrich her daily life, and is happy to do further training (force free – no old school). Needs work on her recall, is improving on the lead. She can be easily distracted and loves to chase birds.
Fizz is very affectionate and loves to be with people, she likes to put her head on your shoulder when driving and cuddle into you. She has been really gentle when meeting children. Fully house trained (we have a dog door) loves kongs, lick mats, food puzzles and deer antlers. Great with other dogs. Good with the cats (will sometimes chase them, and they her, but mostly she respects their space).
Has been introduced to sheep, horses and a few cows through the fence, she is very unsure of them and tends to bark and hide behind me. She will need a spacious well fenced property.
