Fig was surrendered to a vet clinic at around 12 weeks old. She was in a critical condition with pneumonia and was transferred between the day vet and after hours for a week. Shortly after coming home she started to display some odd symptoms which lead to a massive life saving surgery to remove a 12cm stick (which had done a lot of internal damage). This had been inside of her since she first came to the vet clinic. She’s lucky to have survived.

Although she is all healed and is a very happy, playful, healthy pup, it’s important that she does not eat or chew anything that could upset her stomach.

Fig is a joy to have around. She’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly, medium energy levels. She gets on well with the other dogs (big and small). She is being well socialised with cats. Fig dislikes the cold, rain and early mornings. She loves her daily sniff walks/adventures and snuggling on the couch (and in your bed if she’s allowed!).

Loves children (older dog confident are best.) She is content being left at home alone for a few hours – once her needs are met. We are seeking a very very special home for Fig.

Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.

$400 – vaccinations, spay, chip/NZCAR, registration, flea/worm.

We do home out of the district (within South Island) and can arrange property visits. Please contact us about your home and why you think Fig would thrive in your care. Check spam for reply.

Could you give me a home?
