Candy
DOB 25.5.23
From her foster carers in Oamaru:
A sweet girl, she’s responsive and clever and confident. Loves roughhousing with my children, and fox terrier, good with the cats, very snuggly and people orientated. Has plenty of character. Doesn’t want to be a farm dog. Doesn’t like getting her feet dirty or going out in the rain. Is a bit of a princess definitely wants to an house pet. Sleeps inside.
History:
Beautiful pups, Huntaway with some Heading, rescued from a farm, hand raised by volunteer foster carers from 5 days old (9 pups in total, split into 3 groups). The pups are thriving, chunky, chubby and healthy and are a joy to have. Wormed up to date, fed on Royal Canin.
All raised in homes with other pets with plenty of positive interaction. Will require lots of mental stimulation and training in order to thrive. When older, plenty of daily physical activities and adventures. It’s super important to exercise the brain just as much as the legs!
