Boone – Adopted
Huntaway/Heading mix
DOB 8.4.25
Fostered Christchurch
Watch:
My name is Boone I’m big and not so brave. I’m the biggest in my litter but I can be timid. Things like the blender and tv can spook me but once given a moment to process and some cuddles I’m ok. I love to run around full speed but I don’t quite have control of my long legs yet so often fall over. I LOVE toys I climb into the toy basket to steal toys.
I get on well with the adult dogs in my foster home, I’m very respectful. I had a brief meeting with a cat and she was pretty scary and I didn’t chase her. I settle in my crate when it’s nap time and I’m no bother over night. My toilet training is going well but since I am still young someone will need to keep an eye on me.
I’m a big snuggle bug and will happily curl up on a knee and do enjoyed being carried around. I’m looking for a calm gentle family who understand that sometimes I get scared of things and need patience to work it out. Overall I’m a total dude and whoever adopts me will be very lucky. Needs someone at home for at least half the day and able to provide plenty of mental enrichment, fun games, training and adventures.
$350, this includes neuter when older – this is pre-booked and followed up on. Vaccinations x 2, chip on NZCAR. Flea/worm.
Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.
We do home out of the district and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters. Stock fenced properties require a fully secure/safe containment area for no one is at home. Residential 5.5-6ft fences/gates. Owner occupied homes.
If interested, please email us about your home and why you think that a pup would thrive in your care.
