BAZZ
UPDATE – On trial ![]()
Fostered rural South Canterbury/Timaru
Bazz is a young Huntaway (1 year) who was not suited to being a working dog. He is full of life and always looking for entertainment. He is a loving, loyal and gorgeous dog that thrives on positive, calm handling (he arrived very timid).

Baz has been exposed to many new experiences since living on a small block in Timaru, including having full access to inside, hiding his foster brothers soft toys, going for runs down the river along side the mountain bike and going for trips into town in the back of the Ute. Bazz is still very much a puppy at heart and spends as much time as he can playing with his Foster brother and responds extremely well to cues from the older dog.
He is friendly with all new guests and new dogs and gains confidence as each day comes along. He has been exposed to sheep, cattle and chickens.
Bazz would make an amazing pet for a rural family who are active and able to provide plenty of daily exercise and also mental activities to keep his busy mind occupied. Once his needs have been met, Bazz settles down and is quite happy with his own company.
Best suited to kids aged 10 years plus. He is very “handsy” so a shorter human might find themselves with a loving hoof shoved in their face from time to time (nothing that can’t be managed as he’s grows older).
$250 includes neuter, full vaccinations, chip, registration, flea/worm treatment.
We have an adoption process to match our dogs up to the home that best suits their needs. A property visit will be carried out to ensure safe containment. 2 week trial period.
Based in Oamaru, North Otago
Thank you for considering adoption!
