Maisie – Adopted
Border Collie x Springer Spaniel
Fostered Waimate

Maisie is a sweet, social, happy girl. Her manners are superb.
She wiggles herself to pieces around the kids she has met – 4 years old plus, loves playing ball and games with them. With the cats, she is slowly getting better. Earl doesn’t move at all, she’s decided to ignore him, Rusty she can nudge her nose into him quiet hard to make him move, of course he just ignores her, but as soon as he moves, she is right there. With training, she’d be good with a confident cat. Sheep she ignores, cows she is frightened of.
Maisie loves being off lead, and she will stay relatively close. Her energy and fitness levels are increasing now. She has been crate trained, will settle anywhere her bed is though. Fully house trained.
Seeking an active family home that will ensure that Maisie’s mental and physical needs are met. She will thrive with being a special part of daily family activities and lots of fun adventures. Teach her tricks, more training, sniff walks, scent work, try Treibball! Etc etc.
Adoption process: application form, property visit, vet history check. We do meetings once the adoption process is successfully completed.
$350 – vaccinations, neuter when older (pre booked and followed up on), micro-chip/NZCAR, flea/worm up to date.
Rural properties need a fully secure containment area for when no one is at home. We do home out of the district (within South Island) and can arrange property visits. We do not send the dogs away on transporters.
Please message us all about your home and why you think that Maisie would thrive in your care.
