FOSTER or suitable FOREVER home needed. Located Timaru.

Zola, terrier mix, 1 year old, spayed/vaccinated – Located Timaru. Prefer people that are able to meet her a couple of times before she goes anywhere.

High energy, friendly, full on and vocal.
Looking for an experienced handler (using force free methods) that knows how to engage with a dog mentally and has the time and patience to give her. Needs time invested for training. Housetrained, sleeps inside.
Good with the cat – when not over stimulated, needs to be a dog confident cat. Good with the other dogs she has met. Older kids best. In the right care, she will thrive.
Needs secure fencing around entire house – escape artist. Owner occupied home preferred.

We have an adoption process to match our dogs up to the home that best suits their needs (it’s never first in first served). A property visit will be carried out to ensure safe containment. We do adopt out of town and can organise property visits. We don’t send the dogs away on transporters.

If genuinely interested, please send an email telling us why you think Zola would thrive in your care. Please remember she is a young high energy dog that needs a lot of time and effort put into her, plus secure fencing/gates (stock fencing is not adequate.)
